Another Day, Another Thought

I have not posted in a long, long time, and feel really bad about that. I get to thinking about things, and somehow I get stuck thinking for an unimaginable amount of time, and never seem to put it on my blog. I have been thinking lately about general philosophy. I have had quite a few quotes come to my strange, analytical mind. I will re-post them here, and let you read upon my possibly strange way of thinking, or possibly, other peoples strange behavior. You be the judge and please feel free to post your thoughts!

P.S. Maybe I am the crazy one? Or maybe my mind is smarter than I ever gave it credit for? We will see!

1.

When the people in your life seem distant, stop, look and listen to your surroundings and you may find that you are the creator of the distance that seems to haunt your thoughts.

2

A person who is constantly trying to figure out reasoning is a person that will never be happy. The act of forming an hypothesis will inadvertently deflect the knowledge that was trying to be formed, thereby leaving the subject to question the reasoning of yet another question.

3.

It's funny how some people get the wrong impression. You find yourself missing someone for reasons that you cannot figure out, while the other person, given the chance, would swear you were only missing them for one reason! Love is not meant to be figured out, it is only meant to be felt and acted upon!

4.

Judgement is the basis our society as a whole thrives on, until the "society" becomes an individual being judged for a given right to judge themselves.

5.

Love is an atmosphere. Just like a living microorganism, it must be allowed to feed, to move freely, to laugh, to cry , to soar, and to crawl. And it must sometimes be allowed to do the saddest thing of all....die.

6.

Life cannot be measured. Life is a side effect of the torrent of feelings, both good and bad, that constantly battle between the effects of humanity on the human factor. A persons life is like a grain of pollen floating aimlessly through the air, waiting to fall upon a petal, in desperate need of it's soft fragrant touch. Only after this, can the petal begin to become the full potential of what it is was meant to be.

7. (And Last)

Wonders why people think they should take it upon themselves to be two faced? Do they not realize they are but a shell of a TRUE person, and that people can see through their small egotistical self appointed power? The answers to these questions are many, as their are many many faces that come in two's!

Life of a Dispatcher

It seems this job is all I have known for approximately 6 years. I have heard just about everything, seen a lot of things, and yet, each and every day, I am totally amazed at some new faction of my job. People in general are a fascinating bunch. But what totally amazes me are some of the people I actually work with. You have all types of people; those that work hard, those that just do what has to be done, and those that are absolute pain in the rears. I work with one such person, (names not given), who is an absolute ASS. This person is a menace to society as I see it, and drives everyone they work with crazy. And yet, this person continues to have employment at this place. Amazing! I do a good job, I think, as do other people on my shift. But it is really strange to watch a bumbling idiot do their job, to such an exorbitant standard, that it actually makes this person look more like an idiot, and this person doesn't even realize it.

I find humor in this quite often, in a little spot way down deep inside. I laugh uncontrollably at this persons mistakes, quietly, because this person thinks they are perfect. I await the day this person fouls up and has to answer severely for the mistakes. It happens. They say pride comes before the fall, so we will see. In the mean time, I will sit back, wait and watch peacefully, enjoying the little comedy that plays out before me each time I am on, and prepare for what will come. And I will keep a smile on my face....If for no other reason, it makes people wonder what I've been up to!
